Is there any RELIABLE programmers in existence??
 

Why does this always happen?? I find a good programmer off gfy and they are around and do a job and then they just totally dissapear off the face of the planet... this is a pain in the ass when im thinking hey cool i have a good programmer handy now.


So in this thread i want webmasters to recommend good php/scriptign people that continue to be around and are there when you need them instead of asking for programmers to contact me.

This is because he was not your employee, he was not sitting in your office. I employ 7 programmers who sit on their asses in my office and I am pretty happy with them. If you employ someone over the Internet this is what usually happends.

i know the frustration with jackoff programmers ... i finally found one (been using him for over a year) who is efficient, reasonably priced, and has never disappeared. mb at 219inc dot c if you need someone

Yeah... the thing is, if you find a good programmer.. you have to realize that you're not the only person in the world who's found him/her. Others have to, and being "good" means that the programmer is going to be busy and is likely doing a lot of work.
Infact, a half way decent programmer has almost 0 time for having a real life as it is, much less a good one. They tend to be at their computer 24/7.

So don't be too let down if you find a good programmer and they're not available the second time around.

If you find someone who's great and you want to ensure you can count on them to be there for you and only you... hire them.

Most of us are already employed by someone or have too much work as it is.

if you need someone for php or whatever, hit me up on icq (6354 0110) unlike a lot of programmers I do my own sites a good percentage of the time as well ... which leaves slack for things like that (IE I'm not ALWAYS doing a project)
