I dont blame them tho, I guess giving everything away for free isn't such a good business model afterall.

download.com is actually a portal linking to downloads having small reviews. They don't give anything more for fee than the available on every software site. (tucows etc). I suggest to untick the boxes telling them to contact you about offers blah blah. I hate having to put a damn password for everything i do online.

launch.com now makes you signup for a yahoo account, and a launch account, just to see some damn music videos...

and they still advertise on their site like crazy!

if you download the full top 10 for example you "have to" register.. i blocked their cookies.. but its always the same shit
i downloaded a nice freeware game once and this fucking required to register at a sponsors website.. hate that
