A convertible Z is a chicks car.

They are both good cars. Its more a matter of personal preferance. And fuck that, roadsters aren't chick cars.

i love the S2000. i owned one back in '00, and bought another one last year to go with my 911. super fun car you can also take to the track, and the very best manual transmission currently on the planet.

Also take a look at the Infinity G35, i heard they might be coming out with a convertible soon. I love my coupe, and its very similar to the 350z with a few advantages/disadvantages.

My friend has a 350z convertible, its pretty sweet.

I was racing a S2000 two days ago, theyve got some decent power!

When i bought the Infinity G35 -
first visit: i was completely ignored by staff
second visit: i was completely ignored by staff
If you are a young punk like me, you are going to have to request assistance :) Other dealerships usually wont leave me alone!

I love Honda those are great cars...

I've got a Z, and I'd strongly endorse it... Not a huge fan of the roadster/convertible, but I'd pick a nissan over a honda, anyday.

From these two I would have to go with the Honda, simply because although the 350z is a good car and has nice styling, I think the convertible definitely looks very poor with the top down.

either would be great cars... if you wanted to do some upgrades, there are a bunch for both cars. if anything, i would get the s2000 if you want a convertable or get the 350z/g35 for hardtop.

This is one of those tough decsions that are awesome at the same time. Both are delicious fuckin cars, I dunno what I'd pick to be honest; prolly the s2000 but it might depend on my mood that day.

Depends on your driving style... The lack of torque on the s2k really pisses me off, I don't mind winding it out to 9400rpm for spirited driving, but the complete lack of power under 6k rpm for daily driving is really annoying...

The s2k will destroy the Z in the handling department however (even though the Z isn't that bad, I just found it a bit clumsy after driving many smaller, more nimble cars), so I'd say the choice is between a lot more low end grunt or a sportbike-like powerband and a better canyon carver.

Ok here's an update:

Went to the Nissan dealership. Was completely ignored at first. Some dickfaced salesman looked at me all weird and walked away. I went to get assistance and it turns out that salesman was the only one available. All of a sudden he's all nice and shit. They didn't have a Z for me to try and i doubt they would've let me. Anyway i have an appointment tomorrow to try one, maybe.

The honda dealer. LOL Some new girl starts taking care of me. When i ask to take it for a spin she says: "there's a deposit of $500 that's non-refundable. You have to sign a contract that says if you like the driving experience you'll buy the car"

I laughed at the bitch and finally they agreed to have a test drive and the deposit be refundable. So i'm going in tomorrow.

Went to another Dealership, the had all kinds of 350Z. At first everyone ignored me. Finally got a very helpful salesman and i test drove the Roadster. I fucking loved it!

Anyway now i think i'll go for Grey with orange seats or blue with grey interior.

Get the 350Z. I have one...best car I've had by far.....

They both look pretty. Honda is the better company. Honda started out as an engine manufacturer.

Both cars are awesome!

But the s2000 is a little more exclusive... there's not a lot of them on the road.
