So let me get this straight.
You are in favor of granting parents rights to control your life long after you have turned 18 and you are in favor of your mother or father-in-law being able to continue to control your wifes/husbands life even after your married?
So you think you may want to live in a world where you have to sign a pre-nup to keep your in-laws hands out of your finances or where you live, how you live, what type of insurance you have, where you work, what you do for a living and last but not least, the healthcare decisions you may make for your spouse and children?
Maybe how many children you have, where they go to school, what type of parents you will be, what type of healthcare they will receive, what religion they are, etc etc etc...
You really want to sign all rights away to parents?
