Fuck, the whole "The Planet" server network is down, all my sites and all their ones too, pretty strange...

Do they have an uptime guarantee?

The planet network is hysterically overrated. I get better speed to Europe from a couple other networks, and good uptime too

Anybody know what happened or when they plan on being up again? I got a few boxes there.

maybe your server is in the different datacenter

just servers in DC 2 and DC 5 were down i believe....

Ah, forgot you have to be logged into view, its just 23 pages of customers complaining about them being down, nothing "official" has been posted there.

They seem to be getting things back up, but all my sites are still down since i use their DNS servers..which happen to be down.

i use my own DNS servers but my server is still down :mad:

A similar thing happened to me and they promised me one month free of charge for all my boxes. Of course, when the next month came they "forgot" to give me that credit - then I left.

ok my sites were up again for about 2 minutes and now they are down again. WTF!!! if they dont give me one big SLA credit i am going to sue them1

Same here, although my sites hosted by them are slower than normal and traffic is donwn.

Here's another example why you should never put all eggs in the same basket. I have 12 servers at 6 different hosts.

Well, the planet site is still down, but my site is up and working, but when I try to upload to it the fastest i can get is 900 bytes/second hahaha, not even a kb!
Something seriously fucked up here...

I suggested them to someone and he got his server yesterday :(
Typical I will never suggest anything to anybody again.
