What has been the fallout of Ibill
 

Lots of people haven't been paid, yet I've only heard of one program close as a result (and they were already thinking of closing and Ibill broke the camel's back). It seems most site owners have weathered the storm pretty well, switching to alternate processors or swithcing primary processor using their cascading billing.

I thought the effect would have been much more catastrophic. I'm happy I was wrong.

I my case, When they missed the first 3 payouts and has the conference call on Nov 3rd I started using CCbill at that point. After they never came through with there promises I took thier links down. When January got here and they were still coming up with the same ol lies I decided to wait untill Feb first and on that date I went in and cancelled 5 years worth of rebills. I figured well, if they are going to scam people this is one less they will be scamming. I feel its pretty clear where all the monye has gone Charles Prast and hix xtv plans seem to be the only ones "moving forward". :thumbsup

I think their are more long term implications. People considering starting in the pay site business will probably think 'Why the fuck bother Ibill, PSW Billing, WSB, Globill etc went broke I will just end up losing money, may as well continue to be an affiliate'.
