ive had that happen to me once and I was 17 at the time so I couldnt do shit about it.

98.254567% of statistics are meaningless.

2 positives about check joins:

cc scammers will scam the checks more easily and thus scam you on checks rather than visa cards

retention is generally better


Checks still suck but they are a fact of life. nsf's etc. are rampant and there is no standard really for authorization as far as i know.

Is that why a lot of mainstream online businesses are not accepting checks anymore and require a bank card with the visa logo?
