I will tell you what -=HUNGRYMAN=- is:

It was my ON AIR moniker when I was an FM radio Disc Jockey, at a VERY BIG station.

I was "the new kid on the block", with the least amount of seniority, so I got stuck working Christmas Eve (overnight shift).

I tried to find somewhere that was open to order my dinner from, and there was ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE that was open ...

As a lark ... I pleaded on air for somebody to bring me a little care package of leftover turkey dinner, with all the leftover trimmings.

To my surprise, within 30 minutes time, I had more than 70 people bring me some Christmas dinner to the station ... Turkey, potatoes, stuffing, cranberries, christmas cake, EggNog ... You name it - it was there.

I got the security clearence from the General Manager (who was luckily at home) to host an impromtu late night Christmas Dinner at the station, inviting anybody who, for whatever reason, did not have a turkey dinner (maybe thay were living alone, students away from home for the holidays, the underpriviledged ...)

It was the BEST Christmas I ever celebrated, and don't think that any Christmas I live to see will compare to it ...

OMG ~ that is so sweet.
Whenever I haven't a place to go for a holiday meal I'll serve food at a local shelter. Those are some of the most satisfying meals I've had.

I enjoy giving and seeing the faces of my loved ones (esp kids) when they open presents from me .... much more than even receiving presents ... receiving is nice too, don't get me wrong ... but I find giving much more satisfying .... :winkwink:
