A question for you ICQ users
 

My question is, why does someone have to be online before you ask your questions?

Case in point:

imadummy 7:12pm - "Hey, let me know when you're on"

dippysticky 9:40 pm - "r u there?"

dorkchops 11:17 pm - "Hi, I have a question"



People.... just say what is is you want to say. It doesn't matter if the other person is there or not, they will get your message when they do come on and will answer you at that time.

This is ICQ, not msn or yahoo or *choke* AO-Hell. Get your heads on straight. :upsidedow

Yah, I do find it amusing when people do that because 9 times outta 10, when I do get online to get that, they're not online anymore.

Bingo.

Since I can't be playing ICQ tag I answer them back with something like --

"Hello, I'm on and off of ICQ every day, so just message me what it is you need and I'll answer you as soon as I next log on, thanks"

What else can you do?

I prefer yahoo but still have to use icq..

Except for the knuckleheads who keep asking me to let them know when I'm on. :helpme

Its worse when your icq runs 24 hours a day. They just keep messaging.

It's a lot like talking to an answering machine, when no one's there. Still, if you're going to message, you might as well leave an actual message.
