Sad thing about getting older...

You never get back the kinds of stuff you experience in your youth. Something as simple as that queasy feeling in your stomach the first time you hold some girls hand in Middle school or the super feeling you have the first time you kiss that special someone. As an adult, you can get close, but you can never really duplicate it again. Kind of sad when you think about it.

Tell that to Michael Jackson. :winkwink: jk

Dina_C9 03-30-2005 09:46 AM

I know but you have many more new exciting things to look forward to. Like holding your baby for the first time or your grandchild.

UniversalPass Pete 03-30-2005 09:56 AM

You must be married! :pimp

The Bootyologist 03-30-2005 09:56 AM

You're too young for a midlife crisis. Go back to work.

i don't know if i agree with you about this. you can most definitely feel these things as an adult and the great thing is, you understand why you're feeling this way and acting like a teenager and yet you don't care. :winkwink:

It's never the same as the first time you experience something though. Yes you can get butterflies in your stomach, but you understand the what's and why's of them now. You can't get back that first time...

10 years of marriage is doing weird shit to me lately. I feel fucking old...

:(

reynold 03-31-2005 02:37 AM

I think it's good to experience all the stages of life.

kowntafit 03-31-2005 05:04 AM

makes you do limited things! you can no longer run as fast as you do when you were younger. and a lot more things...

kowntafit 03-31-2005 05:48 AM

but it is just a matter of perspective anyway.

ronaldo 03-31-2005 05:52 AM

Saddest thing about getting older to me is how the wife starts to look.

you're just going through a patch i'm sure. before you know it, the feeling will pass and you will look at your wife and realize all the reasons you wanted her in your life (unless she is unbearable).

Spunky 03-31-2005 07:14 AM

Time just flies by...seemed like only yesterday I was in my 20's

Violetta 03-31-2005 01:55 PM
