are they any good for registering domains ?

I already registred 1-2 domains, never had problem.

look at their name and then ask again.

yeah, no design. i noticed.

I think they have a good reputation.

I personally love NameCheap tho

I have 6 or so there for storage and test sites :thumbsup

The worst thing about Joker.com is when you need to change a domain record, change ownership or transfer a domain to another registrar. Their procedures are fucked with a royal F.

I transferred all of my domains away from them to Dotster which started to suck like Godaddy. So I transferred them all over to Namecheap.

Now I dont use anything apart from Namecheap which is, in my view, the best registrar around.

we have problems with them allowing bogus registration and eventually their client stealing a site which is copyrighted and trying to pass it off as their own.

the endless contact with icann over joker is becoming annoying to say the least.

yeah, my friend observed those kinds of problems too

Your registrar should be Fabulous.com

Especially if you register a lot of domains.

Joker is in Germany, and Fabulous is in Australia. If you have a problem, how do you like the possibility of consenting to the jurisdiction of a foreign court?

My domains are too important to use any registrar besides MONIKER; they are in Pompano Beach, FL.

been using them for about 4-5 years now...no problems unless you need support then it's a monster pain in the ass, if you know what you're doing and a self-serve type, then they're fine...

Are you saying that the US court system is better than that of Germany's or Australia's?

In any case, nothing wrong with your suggestion regarding Moniker.
