I've got a mainstream site that google is pissing me the hell off over. It's hit my index page a couple of times but it won't do a deep crawl. Yahoo and MSN are all over it every few days and I'm in the top ten on all kinds of keywords/phrases. I don't have jackshit on google, though.

How often the page(s) that it is linked from are indexed by Google is the most important factor. If you have several inbound links on sites scanned frequently, you should be in within a few days.

Only problem is Google has problems with Blogspot sites, I believe due to the templates used. So you may see your site bounce in and out of the index a bit.

Its more like server issues on blogspot side.
Like timeout, dns error and shit like that.

Sometime, take like 25 second to open a blogspot site, like you prolly know, google bot dont wait 30 minutes for each pages to load. Thats why some get kicked out of the index and get back in a few days later.

I think he means a brand spankin' new site. A day old site will not have an immediate PR, unless Google happened to do a complete update, and the page already had a mess of inbound links.

Its not because you dont see a PR in the toobar you dont have one for new site. Temp PR is your friend.
