They pressure tested it an everything was fine, then they broke it screwing it back together..... God damn I don't know how they did it unless they didnt have the threads lined up and started turning with that 36" pipe wrench they use... |
was it an old tank?
you have to buy new tanks every so often because they get weakened and could explode if you try to fill them up. |

Tell them to give you a new one, they fuckin' dumb !
|
that's bullshit - they owe you a fucking tank, or at least a tank regulator, if the tank is still good

Nitrogen ?? I thought they went on co2
And yes they owe you a new bottle |
I once worked at a scub diving shop , and firefighters would come in and get their smaller tanks filled up.
Now the tanks were a litter bigger than whats known as a "pony" bottle and smaller than a regular dive tank so they needed a special fill rate, but i had snuck off to the fill room to puff a joint a completely forgot about it, eventually the tank corrupted at the threads and shot the bottle clear thru a cement wall into the next store over. I had to pay for both the wall and the bottle. |

the higher end paintball guns tend to use nitrogen. not really much of a difference. |

that sucks, what did you tell them happened to make you forget ? |

The co2 tanks are smaller, more durable, and about $20. Better in every way except if you shoot a lot (fast) the co2 causes the area at which the gas is released to get cold, so the balls start dropping. The really expensive guns use nitrogen. My tank nitrogen so my balls dont drop. But its large, heavy, and costs $400. |
they broke it, they fix it!
|
...nope, not me, but i did painted some balls a while ago....
|
If they where screwing your regulator back on and they broke it then they would be responsible for it not you. Ive been playing paintball for 16 years and have seen this same thing many times.
|
Well.. They have broken my tank before and they always made me send it off to Crossfire or where ever I bought the tank from.. If it was clear that they fucked up I would ask them to replace it. More then often they will tell you they can't fix it and send it to the manufactor...
|
Get them to get you a new one...is their fuck up, not yours.
