They don't mix.

Yesterday my new neighbor decided he was going to install a new septic tank himself.

BAD BAD IDEA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I watched the equipment rental company deliver the backhoe to his yard yesterday morning. And I thought to myself this guy has totalled 3 cars in less than a year, what kind of damage is he going to do with this thing?


Less than 10 minutes after I heard the machine start up I found out. The idiot dug up my power and phone lines. Did he stop when the sparks flew? Nope.

The power company came out quick and got my power back by going off another pole and connecting me above ground. The phone company idiots looked and said "we will be back after he's finished" .... NO NO NO wrong fucking answer my freinds.

After a breif discussion with their supervisor "The supervisor kept asking for my wife to get on the phone. Apparantly she is nicer about these things." They ran a line down my driveway far from my neighbors hole.

Took them until this morning to hook my dsl back up. So if you tried messaging me yesterday ... please try again.

On another note, have you ever used a backhoe? Man they are fun!

Try knocking a tree over with one, or even better using the arm to pull yourself up a hill.

why do you even use a regular phone line anymore?
use a cell or vonage.

the reason he went for the phone line first was that he didn't want you to call the cops when he done the rest of the damage.

From the sounds of things the guy doesnt have enough brains to pour piss out of a boot with the directions on the heel. Chances are he isnt going to get the septic system installed.

Wouldn't he need a special permit to dig in his yard?

here you are, they even have a free service to call that will come out and mark all underground utility lines. If you don't do that and dig up something like in this case, the power company, gas, telephone whatever will send you the bill, (and it aint cheap)

i can pretty much guarantee that your neihbor wishes he would have done that now
