http://www.winsupersite.com/images/s...ch_demo_01.jpg http://www.winsupersite.com/images/s...ks_demo_01.jpg looks pretty good... kinda like a browser... the way it lets you organize files is cool too, its like a database and you can add tags to file and organize them by those tags. :pimp |
reminds me KDE graphical interface :2 cents:
|
Interesting.. What they going to call the new windows?
|
Oh now that does look interesting. Anything to keep me better organized is a good addition
|
sorry but i think the design is ugly as hell

Can't see anything special at all - a new skin and search facility... hmmmm
The next version is more evolutionary than anything, interface change, better search and improved security, plus integrated .NET. No big deal at all... IMHO |
It's going to be a nice leap with the search features and i've tested the beta that was let out a long time ago and I am wondering what the improvements are since then.
|
Well longhorn is the development name for it dude. I actually installed and used a pre-alpha leak of it, it's a piece of shit. The people at M$ seem to be prettying up the existing windows, the new version isn't even going to have the new file system in it, which means all it is is a new design, and stuff like firewall built in to the core.
Don't even think about buying it. When they implement the new file system it *might* be worth it... but I'm not convinced. |
Same old bollocks Linux will rule!!!
|
Dude,,,, I am loving the new design

nice now only if it doesnt crash

<sarcasm>
Microsoft technology is useless </sarcasm> |
wow... windows just seems to get 'fluffier' and 'fluffier'... I wanna work from my desktop, using max possible cpu and ram... not waste my resources on fluffy, shaded menu bars...

Is this the version of KDE that will be released in 3 years time after Windows has released that interface? KDE = no innovation |
it has a good interface.

Linux is a failure. It took no significant desktop OS marketshare away from Microsoft Windows. All it did was kill UNIX in the server OS marketshare. |
Minimum CPU needed is 3Ghz and 2GB RAM.
And it will have DRM built in (and don't forget the DRM capabilities to be included in the new CPU chips!) |
Can we trust a site with the name { winsupersite } ?
|
interesting interfaces... i wonder what system requirements it will need to run properly.

they've been working on longhorn since what? late 2002? 100$ says its more unstable then XP without SP1 when it finally goes live.
|
Nice and Interesting :)
|
i heard it will need 64 bit processors to run this OS
|
Wow, it looks really good, when can we except to get this new version ?
|
Quote:
Yeah it looks alot like KDE |
nice :) :)
|
i will stick with what works. i remember when everyone was excited about me and that crashed and burned.
either win2k or xp pro....and even pro is a bit unstable at times. |
How many blue screens will it get during the Demo ;)
|
i'll go get one after a year of release
|
