Okay, so you place an ad in the paper for models or found some at the local pub who are willing and able to do dildo scenes/fuck scenes whatever.

Couple questions:

How much should you pay the average model to do different scenes?

Should you have someone taking still shots while video taping or just use screen captures from the video as the stills?

Where can I find pre-done model release forms?

still photo rates also vary from motion picture rates as well.....

photo rates generally are from the hour, 1/2 day and entire day....where video is mostly per scene.

for a bit of the "reality" feel which is so popular these days - get your photo guy to take pics of you doing vids of her and vice versa :)

Where are you located in Jersey?, I'm in south jersey and we have shot some content around here....

Hookers will not let you film them generally. Plus if the did they are totally desparate and will look bad on film.

Talent is worth what they will take. Suggest $100 an hour and see what they say.

That is what I do.

I don't care what everyone else pays - I ask them what they want to make and work it from there.

The is the cheapest way to get talent and if they are happy with what they get then you can save a ton of money over time.

I have a model release if you need one, just contact me via ICQ and I'll send it to you. Modify it for your company, and needs.

Those rates above are close for big cities. We pay a bit less, but other WM's I've talked to in Michigan are in that ballpark for their stuff.

Best case scenerio, you want to do it on number of sets in a shoot. For example, we shoot them for 5-6 sets. So each model, solo or paired you shoot for the number of sets period. Why sets? Because if you have a "time" sometimes they will fuck around in a shoot, and it will run longer than expected. So you want to make sure you get your money's worth, and also give them the motivation to keep it moving as fast as possible.

You will also want to do both video, and digital camera stills if possible. Both for quality, and different angles, and so on. Even with best gear, viddcaps are still vidcaps.

If you can find some people who will let you shoot at their houses, then go that angle versus studios. Also, make sure you have GOOD LIGHTING. Makes an enormous difference in end product. Depending on location, and budget, try and shoot midday if you are using a house, or outside for best lighting. Always easier to darken versus having to lighten.

You can find girls anywhere.. if you are in a college town, advertise in college papers. If you are on the net chats, make a handle like "hiring models, model search', or some variant. Go to fetish, adult, or whatever rooms. You can also snag them at clubs, and so on.

Get business cards. Something with a url for the sie you are hiring for, or some kinda web presence. Some will go check it out before commiting. This is both good and bad, but helps cut out the flakes.

A lot of it depends on where you live. BUT DONT USE PREMADE RELEASES!

Prices are different everywhere, you should see what other producers in your area are paying. I see 100's of bookings go through my site everyday and the prices really vary all the time, it depends on what you want to spend. You can low ball the girls, but then you will get what you pay for. Pay the girls well and you will get better performances and more reliable talent.

It depends on how you want to film. some producers shoot pics during the filming, this is fine if you have good editors that know how to take out the flashes well. Or you can film and then take pics after the video, allot of producers do this so they do not have as much editing to do. I wouldn't use screen captures, never good enough quality.
