God, I love that show! I hope HBO renews it (it's still up in the air right now). The creator said that he planned for it to run 6 seasons.

This season has been much better than last season, but it doesn't even come in the same ballpart as the Sopranos. Sopranos and Sex and the City are the best shows put out by HBO yet.

I hope so. that show is one of the best mini series that has ever come out.. right there with Band of Brothers..

Oh brother, don't get me started on Band of Brothers!!! One of my All-time favs! Col. Winters was the man (well still is seeing how he's still alive). :thumbsup

I haven't watched it since the first season. Did it get better? I had mixed feelings about it back then.

I think it definitely got better. Overall, it was a bit slow, but I think that allowed them to really develop all of the characters...since there were so damn many of them. Can't wait for season 3. I'll just have to finish out Deadwood and hope that satisfies me until it's ready.

My favorite big moments were the final showdown in the cornfield, the wicked tree getting struck by lightning, Jonesey getting shot, and the crop dying at the end there.

Gosh, I hope no one reads that before watching the episode. Might want to precede stuff like that with a big "SPOILERS AHEAD" warning. :winkwink:

I'm soooooo confused about Sophie and where she falls into the grand scale. It said in an earlier episode on the mirror, "Sophie is the Omega". Omega meaning end. Why would she A) Murder Jonesy (which I think he will make a return) and B) Ressurect Justin? Also, what about Ben and Sophie's baby?

This show invokes thought and that's why I love it so much. It's not cut and dry with a conclusive ending after each episode like so many other cookie-cutter shows out now.

HBO hasn't renewed on the series yet and there is a reported 3.5 million viewers (which is pretty low seeing how Deadwood has an average of 8 million viewers and Sapranos had much, much more).
