Clever TV Marketing
Anyone notice how the Poker companies figured out the TV marketing angle?
They're advertising the .net version of the their domains, which TV networks will clear with just free poker games on there. Then the natural inclination for the surfer is to check out the .com version of the domain. And that has the "real money" games. :thumbsup PokerStars.net advertised on TV PokerStars.com where the money machine is. |
Schweet. Good marketing. :thumbsup

What do you expect, they have think tanks.

not a bad strategy.
i like to watch those shopping channels to see how they sell their products in 5-10 mins. (they do a lot of repeating lol) its interesting to see guys who know NOTHING about laptops or computers, trying to sell them on tv LOL thats some classic shit right there. Example: Salesman: *screaming loudly* "Folks, ya GOTTA get this!!!! HYPER THREADING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes! HYPER THREADING!!!!!!!!!!! LOOK AT THIS!!!!!!! ISNT THAT AMAZING???????? This is the future right here of computers, folks!!!!" :upsidedow |
