I dont think America has forgotten, I think people are just starting to wise up. They are starting to realise that the war is just playing into the terrorist's hands.
They (the terorists)say everyday that the US is hell bent on some sort of world domination.... and everyday America (and the UK) goes out of its way to prove they are right.Comment

No, the war came as a result of 9/11 but please lets not get into the whole spiel about justification, etc. Been there, done that 100 times.Originally posted by blyjust think back bro, everything starts with 9/11
But on a related topic, after 9/11 the focus was on hunting bin Laden and getting those responsible for 9/11. Bin Laden is still out there. That's where the "war" should be.Comment

"Little Boy" is the nick name given to the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. It was Monday morning. Little Boy was dropped from the Enola Gay, one of the B-29 bombers that flew over Hiroshima on that day.
It is believed that more than 140,000 people died by the end of the year. They were citizens including students, soldiers and Koreans who worked in factories within the city. The total number of people who have died due to the bomb is estimated to be 200,000.

No, Bush still did not have any reason to invade Iraq.Originally posted by groark
Ofcourse this inlawfull war has something to do with 9/11. Without 9/11 Bush wouldnt have any reason. Fight against global terror can now always used as a reason..

I so love Americans that think Iraq has anything to do with 9-11. The war in Iraq is to do with oil and Bush repaying his dents for his election victory. You seem to like to stereo type that every 'rag' head was involved in 9-11. If you had stated that you were invading Iraq because of the oil I think people would probably have more respect for Bush. Atleast it would have been honest!Comment

What the fuck are you talking about? "This" war, and "osama". Dude, you obviously have no idea what is happening in the real world beyond what your brain decided to take from television.
The war in Iraq has nothing to do with 9/11 nor Osama Bin Ladin(sp?). That was what the War in Afghanistan(sp?) was about.
Don't go preaching shit when you know nothing of the subject.

Too bad we spent billions of dollars and 1000's of U.S lives going after the wrong guy. Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda are stronger than ever. Iraq, Iran, 9-11.. they are all connected in some way... Clinton's apathy prodeced 9-11, George Bush think differently, He knows he has limited time in power and he thinks differently than Clinton and he is doing something about it... was it the right way to do it? who knows... only the future will tell.Comment

So,
What all you whiners about the war want, is for all American troops to come back home and then what? What happens to those who are on a "killing spree" in the Middle East? We're just to walk away and let the terrorists/insurgents go their merry way?
Those of you in Europe would be speaking a lot of German and Japanese if we took that position. Maybe that what you would have wanted us to do then, as now. Right?
Most of you are so fucking young you would shit your pants if you ever had to stand up for what you believed. If you had had the abilities, we would have never had to come over there. Just as those in the Middle East are "acquiring" the abilities to keep their countries soverign. I suppose that's something you're against.
You all piss and moan until your nutz get in a squeeze and then what do you do? "Please, USA, come bail us out!" I wish world aid from our country was something that the PEOPLE had to vote on instead of Congress.
What have YOU or your COUNTRY done to make the world a safer place? Hummmm?Comment

PS....
And if you're still standing on that broken down soapbox that claims Bush went to war to get Iraq's oil, I only have one question: How much are you paying for a gallon these days?
If we went to war to get their oil, then it would be a lot cheaper now. That's not the case. So that old "rant from the left" is totally groundless.Comment

fighting ignorance with ignorance? Bush is retarded but in contrast to the haters, he looks like one of the greatest minds of the modern era. Unfortuneate considering that he can barely put together a coherent sentence.Originally posted by SomeCreepToo bad we spent billions of dollars and 1000's of U.S lives going after the wrong guy. Al Queda are stronger than ever? I would have assumed that they were strongest at the point where they were openly running training camps in Sudan, Afghanistan and eslewhere under the worlds nose and openly recruiting people to train there and later commit terrorist acts. When they were commiting terrorist acts and world governments had a policy to try to arrest and try them in court rather than decimate them to the core. To say Al Queda is stronger than ever, shows that you have a poor grasp of the situation. When a group can't communicate, can't move money, can't hide in other coutries, can't travel and are now actively being hunted and taken down... it would be hard to prove the case that they are stronger than before 9/11.
What acts of terror has this new and improved and according to you "stronger than ever" group of terrorists commited in the US since 9/11? (i can help you with a hint - its a number more than -2 and less than 1)Comment
