My mailing list now at 33K
 

Well, 33,226 to be exact. That's a lot of subscribers. You can't tell me no one else here has a mailing list. I'm looking for other companies that would be interested in cross promotions (ie, I promote you on my newletter, you promote me on yours).

Anyone?

nice size list ..but l think a lot of mailers talk in the millions of emails for it to make thier eyes light up :)

the size of the list is not important, its where you got them.
A list with millions of address will have hundreds of thousands of bad addresses and addresses of people who have no desire to see what your selling, targeted lists will convert the best, even if small, a good targeted list will convert allot better then a huge one full of junk.

Although, he/she is talking opt ins, not biller lists they bought off some shady GFY character. 33k is pretty solid for real subscribers. Not everyone can be CE.

I have one, good clean addresses. bad addresses are filtered out.

I started my list last fall. It gets about 1K new subscribers a week. I send out my newsletter every mon, wed, and fri.

I'm at 99k+ on my webcam freesite, almost 100k :thumbsup

All double optin, and converts fucking AMAZING :thumbsup

Ok, talked to a few so far. To answer some questions that might help....

1) This is a newsletter. If you want a copy, let me know and I'll send it to you.

2) Text only. I can embed an image tag so you can verify reads, but thats about it as far has HTML.

3) After thinking about it, I can send your promotion seperate from the newsletter as a "Special Promotion" in the subject. I can only do this on Tuesday and Thrusday.

4) I would be promoting my site (which is what the newsletter is for), www.uglysob.com.

5) And yes, my list is double opt-in. I like to use "opt-in" to mean double because people do have to verify their join.
