In any case, I'll cut to the point, after spending a few good hours trying to utilize this GFY search tool...to no avail...I'm just going to ask this quick friking question...

Will it be worth my time and energy to get my sites, when they're ready, listed on Yahoo!

Seems to me that Yahoo is the number one search engine being used by the most surfers today...

Is it hard to get on w/Yahoo...Or is it too fricking time consuming to even consider it?considering the other 'somewhat' more popular engines?

A yahoo listing almost always makes a profit, sometimes a good profit.

But you have to have to be able to afford to lose the $600.

Some categories have good editors, who will approve almost any site with 100 decent new pics, some have editors that appear to be relatively ignorant of their supposed topic, or are just assholes. Submitting a site to a category whose editors you don't know is always a $600 gamble.

Look at the sites they have there. Some are total ripoffs, it's hard to beleive they have any standards at all if they accept that kind of shit. Were they changed right after being accepted? Maybe...

yahoo is chargin 600$ now to get a prefered business listing (2 days) ??? !!

If it's any consolation...I seriously thought that had I posed the question any other way, I would certainly would not have gotten a response!
