hope you had a great xmas - well i got to LA in one piece but got stuck at customs for 3 hours while they evacuated the building coz of a bomb threat.

They took everyones camera film outta their cameras - fuck knows why - - so I lost a heap of cool pics I had, they offered me $$ to replace it but I told em to go shove it. http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/biggrin.gif

A bomb threat is a potentially embarrasing situation for an airport, so they take your film so that you cannot show people pictures of LAX being evacuated for a bomb threat.

I wish we could hook up for some lunch, unfortunately, and sadly, Baby RedShoe is back in the Hospital. She has Hyper Billy Rubin. Cat's Blood type, and India's Blood type are at war. Her skin turned a yellowish color, and she was admitted back to the hospital on Christmas Eve.

She will probably be there for a couple of more days. Mrs. RedShoe, and I are very sad, and we feel helpless. http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/frown.gif

We take turns coming home to shower, and clean ourselves up. Also, maybe just to try and take a small break from all the worrying.

It's my turn to be home for a bit. We're in room 231 at Valley Presbyterian Hospital (2nd floor - pediatrics) On the corner of Vanowen, and Sepulveda Blvd in the Valley.

Posting all this just helps me deal with it... And of course to invite anyone that happens to be in the neighborhood. It's so sad to spend her first Christmas in a hospital. We hate it there. I think I'll take a game or two to help pass the time.

Sorry to hear about your newborns medical difficulties Redshoe. I am sure that your little angel will be alright. I will say a prayer and light a candle for her when I go to church tonight. well, perhaps in Canada that is why they would open your cameras, but seeing as how it is headlining our news, complete with film coverage, I highly doubt that hiding the fact from the public is the reason why they opened up cameras.

For the record, the problem was that some idiot left a wrapped xmas package outside the international terminal, probably because you are not allowed to bring wrapped presents on board airliners any more. So not really a bomb scare, so to speak, just an idiot and better safe than sorry.
