Why Are Americans So Fucking Arrogant?

Because when you're the topdog you have that right! Everyone bitches about the U.S. doing this or doing that but all of you lesser countries have your lips stuck firmly to our teets and you fucking know it! When God tries to strike your country down with an earthquake or fire who is the first country you turn to for help? That's right bitches, the U.S. of fucking A!

If the U.S. were to collapse today, the world would collapse tomorrow. Nuff said!

Carry on.

Apparently the my reply where I stated that this thread was "TONGUE-IN-CHEEK" went totally over-looked by some people. Let me lend some assistance.

That is a very interesting fact that I never knew and I consider myself a history buff. I did not know that convicts were shipped the America before they were shipped to the colonies which is now Australia and the American Revolution is what ended the transport.

I guess I need to find a new angle of attack when jesting with my Australian friends. :winkwink: :thumbsup

Hey everyone,

Relax and calm.

"Let the US of Fucking A" be the world leader of whatever it is they want to be the world leader of.

Sooner or later like Eve in the Garden of Eden, they will eat themselves out of house and home and actually have to scratch out an existence on their own.

At the rate they are consuming everything and pissing everyone off.... I'm sure it won't be long.

I know that it's a shocking stat when you consider trade deficits and the like. I used to think it was the other way around too. However, it's true. And when you think about it, it's very important that it be this way. An empire cannot sustain itself if it relies too heavily on the outside. This could very well change in the future. There is always room for improvement.

I agree these things are vital and fall in that 20%. There isn't much oil in North America so the US has to look elsewhere for it. Export is mutual for both nations that are trading. If you're referring to outsourcing when you say cheap labor, I agree. You can't really blame companies that need to compete in a market where everybody else is outsourcing the labor.

Let's simplify this and put it into perspective. A lot of the U.S.'s consumption is electronics, cars, and lets say oil for sake of argument. We import cars from Japan, Germany, Korea, Australia, and who makes the SAAB again? Also, we import electronics from mainly Asian countries like Japan, Korea, and China. Oil, well we're working on that problem now.

Anyhow, I would venture to say that the car and electronic consumption accounts for at LEAST 20%. That doesn't include all the other insignificant items we import all the time like Beer and diamonds. Ok, not so insignificant items like beer but you get the point.

Maybe my numbers are askew but I honestly think the number of 80% you quoted is a bit off.

Drake 03-24-2005 08:42 AM

The world has become a small place. A wealthy nation like the US crumbling would have ripple effects throughout the world today. That's undeniable. And if other wealthy nations began having problems, it would also be disastrous for the US.

But poor countries where cheap labor is sought out would have less effect on the US if they faced problems with their own economies. If the US can't make staples for example in Indonesia (just an example, I dont know if they do or not), then they can have them made in China, or Japan.

Collectively if every poor nation or a large number of poor nations that the US relies on for trade, labor, experienced problems, it would effect the US. But that's unlikely to ever happen because poor countries don't operate collectively. They don't have a market. They don't have leverage. They don't have the resources to work collectively.

She ate the apple, god got pissed off and kicked them out. Henceforth.... ate out of house and home.

As for England.... Have you ever been there?
Tony Blair is going down and a large majority of Brittish people are against america on many issues. When I was there I was told there is even an upstart politcal party in London that is advocating a total severance of politcal ties with the USA. They appear to be alot like the Rhino party of Canada and not taken seriously but it does demonstrate that USA is increasingly seperating itself from it's friends.

As for a personal opinion. If the united states is bombed again I won't send a dime of support. Hell I'll call my MP and let him/her know that to if they want my vote they better not ask parliment to send any help.

And I'm not some sort of fruit cake. More and more young Canadians feel the same. We are tired of the baby-boomer dream of Canada being United States North.

It's just a question of time. After Gorgie boy is gone another right wing "Kill them all" and "We are america and can do whatever the fuck we want" president will take his place. Afterall, thats what motivates your society. A Strauss Neo-conservative ideology

Buddy, we don't have to fight. In the end america will fuck itself to a wall. Canada is apx 30 million people compared to close to 300 million americans. And it was the collapse of the Canadian economy that cased the last recession in the USA.

Your nation's arrogance and self-righteousness will cause you to over-extend yourself. You will be forced to occupy more and more small nations to protect and ensure your interests.

It's easter island all over again baby. Keep driving, keep buying bigger and better and please keep eating cheeseburgers. In the end there will be nothing left of the american legacy except a bunch of abandon fast food resturants.

And before you say it... Canadians will just retreat further into the North. Remember over 70% of our land has been un-touched and the artic has supported the Inuit for centuries. There won't be 30 million of us but we will continue whereas america won't.

Often, the U.S. "comes to rescue" even when they're not asked. I agree America is the Defender of the World and a lot of people owe gratitude for that, but suggesting everyone else dials up the US government whenever they have a problem is ignorant and misguided.
