Are COOKIES a thing of the past?

I'm noticing 60% of the incoming traffic to pimpinpays have cookies disabled.... is it dying out?

what do you think?

IP + GET variables > databased might be the thing of the future.

I don't see cookies going the way of the dodo, but with better server and logging performance improving, there's always better ways to track and personalize user experience.
