I Just Had Jake's H2 Repainted PINK Today!
 

Jake pissed me off the other day so I took his H2 in for a little makeover!

Ok, seriously though. We took Jake's Hummer in for service today and there was this totally customized pink H2 there. This guy who owns several strip clubs in Denver bought it for his wife. I wonder if her name is "Barbi", lol. I can't believe how some people will go and spend $40,000 to totally ruin a $60,000 vehicle like that!

that was my thought when they came out - i was running an offroad tour company at the time with 2 hummers and 4 pinzgauers - the h2 was laughable in comparison. i also realise though, that most people who buy them aren't looking for an offroad vehicle, to them, it's just another style of car. to each his own, though i do wish they weren't so gas-guzzling - but i feel that way about all cars. :2 cents:

Sure, if you're looking for a dedicated off road vehicle the H1's capabilities are far superior to the H2, there's no argument there. However, to say that the H2 is an embarrassment to the Hummer name is ridiculous. The H2 is simply a driver friendly version of the H1. Much more comfortable, less maintenance, better gas mileage, easier to drive and park, but still an excellent off road vehicle as well.

I spent quite a bit of time driving the "real" H1 in the Marine Corps and would never consider it as a daily use vehicle. It's just far too wide to fit in most parking spots, etc. The bottom line, the H2 offers the perfect compromise between excellent off-road capabilities and everyday driving practicality.
