Damn, it's a sweet feeling being single.

I'm loving it and planning on staying this way for a while now.

After being this way for years, its not that great really. I guess it really depends on what stage you are in life and for me, its not that great anymore.

Being single is the future trend. The whole structure of marriage needs a major makeover. It just doesn't function that well for most couples in today's world.

its always nice to be single after a long relationship. it took me about a year of being single & doin the whole clubbin scene & fuck-friends thing before it got old & i wanted a relationship again.

but its nice at first to get all your freedom back. enjoy it while you can :)

I've been single for a couple of months and don't think I will get back into a relationship for a long, long time. There just isn't any reason to. Life is simpler this way.

Now that you have me thinking... every "good" marriage I know of, the husband and wife both have their own hobbies and activities. They spend time out away from the house with friends or doing things that they like to do.

My grandparents are a perfect example. They have been married for over 50 years. My grandpa is a workaholic and is always helping family members build house additions or work on something, he also spends a lot of his time doing repairs and maintenance to the church and school of the parish that he belongs to. My grandpa is an artist and great homemaker, she enters a lot of competitions and wins quite a few ribbons. She spends a lot of time with my younger cousins and also donates her time to be the art teacher at the same school, she does the decorating and other miscellaneous tasks for the church as well.

I don't think I've ever seen them mad at each other. Little scuffles where my grandma gets aggravated about something, sure. But never any fights that last longer than 20 minutes.

I think it depends if you have some good friends, what lifestyle you like, and all that stuff. Each to their own, when your single you usually envy the married ones and when your married you envy the single life. I guess you cant have everything in life unfortunately. I think the ideal situation would be having a girl for say 6 months and then trading her in for a new different model, LOL. Seriously that would be cool. Dont tell my wife though..............

I am one of those people who loves to be single as well. I have such a great circle of friends that keep me mega busy, so sometimes i don't even feel like i have the time. That might be sad i know...
Seems like everytime i throw a relationship into the mix they ultimately want to dominate all my time and eventually they don't want me traveling with friends etc.
Don't ya just love when they fall in love with you for who you are and then down the road they want to change you! grrr

Plus i believe in the fairytale, so i will know when its right :)

I like being single now but that's because I have my kids. Once you have kids that love you, the woman isn't really necessary. I can't wait to move to my kids state this fall and get my own place and I don't have to deal with that woman at all but I can see my kids. Then I'm free to date any woman I want.

But being totally single as a grown man kind of sucks. Even if you want to run around and find new pussy. What's the fun of sneaking around if there's no woman to sneak around on? I'm have much less casual sex now that I'm divorced than when I did when I was married. I'm not going to mess with any of these women all summer except for blowjobs so that I dont get tripped up on some pussy before I move out of here.
