Has anyone had a nose-job?
 

Are there any experiences from GFYers over here? I know quite a few guys who have had jobs done on themselves...

I had one. But mine was included in rebuilding my face from a motorcycle accident. I will say I did get a better nose. He got a BMW. What can I say? :winkwink:

I also had a girlfriend that had one to make her nose smaller, the doctor had to work the bone that makes up the bridge of her nose a little. <<full body shiver>>

I had liposuction on my gut. Looks great one year later. Some people say it can get lumpy but I have not had any problems.

how much did it cost and how much did they take off?

i am looking at getting mine done, had it broken like 10 times, the septum is a mess so my insurance will cover it because it is not 'cosmetic' but repairs. :thumbsup

I need one, I have a big old Italian nose. The two things I got from my grandmother were big boobs and the Trigiani nose.

It cost about $3,000 USD. I was not fat I just had a belly that would not go away. There are strict limits of how much they can take out with each surgery.

I think they took about 2 kilos out of me.

Thinking about also getting my nose fixed. I can't breathe out of one side due to getting into so many fights when I was a kid.

A girl (Jewish) I dated in college was a super hot model. She invited me to spend July 4th holiday in Aspen. So we are all in the house and I said "you have your mother's nose" and her mother replied "we both had the same doctor".

I'll say! I was awake for a full hour of reconstructive surgury. There was two more procedures the doctory wanted (some work on my left eye.) but I just could not bring my self to go under the knife again.

My gram wanted to have my nose done for my 16th B-Day, that's what all the women in my family get but I chose to take a cruise instead. Now I wish I had gone for the nose job.

I don't know anyone here who's had a nose job or is even thinking about it. Weird.

Yes, in the 70's, and had refined work in 80's, now it do not work with a damn! But, this was in the 70's.

I am all for plastic surgery...I have had alot of stuff done in 1999, and a firm believer, if it makes you feel better, do it!

ive had some work done before and could not recommend it enough. its amazing how something that was once on your mind all of the time, can disappear within weeks after the surgery and you completely forget about it. well worth it, borrow the $ to do it if you have to :)

One of my friends had a nose job. She wants to be a news anchor and felt that her Jewish nose would be a problem. All of our friends said she was crazy and shouldn't do it, but I agreed that it was probably a good idea, haha. I got called a couple names for that one. :)

go talk to a doctor, they can examine you and tell you what can be done

i would go to a few of them, i am sure that prices can vary
