I am capturing video now from a Mini DV , word.

I got the capture window open.Word

Now its playing the contents anyway to capture faster or you just have to let it run n shit? word

Answer = Sony Vegas.

If I understand you correctly, there is no speed recording mode. It is always best anyway to record in real time to preserve quality. You can thank Joe for the answer...I only typed what he said when I asked him. :)

Encode from your camera to Windows Movie Maker (I think you may run windows NT or 2K, so if that is the case, I apologize, you'll have to install it).

Once the video is encoded to AVI, you may then import it to Premiere for editing.

Ya goto chill and capture.
