Google trick ?

I have notied this guy flipping thru a few services with hundreds of sub-domains then suddenly dominating all search terms.

Check out this search for "milf pics"

http://www.google.com/search?q=milf+...start=100&sa=N

Notice all the listings :)

You would think google would limit a domain from holding so many spots in a row like that ( pages of them )

Ok now look at the google cache of any of those pages..

Jaymus. 03-22-2005 09:32 PM

That's some nice SE spam there. :winkwink:

pornstar2pac 03-22-2005 09:32 PM

damn, how can I do something like that?

ytcracker 03-22-2005 09:37 PM

no-ip is a redirect service i think like dyndns

good hack on that one though

yes the last one was with dyndns :) im sure its the same guy , all incest shit.

SmokeyTheBear 03-22-2005 09:44 PM

strange , when you view source on the cached page it flips to google.com/index but if you stop the window before it redirects and view source it says

-----------
Rank_1:1:0
-----------

oh thats google toolbar rank. not sure why thats showing up in view source, never seen that before

and btw in firefox the cache redirects to the page not google.

austinth 03-22-2005 10:03 PM

he's doing some good cloaking. looks like he has a good cache buster being used also

hydro 03-22-2005 10:05 PM

He's using EEC

Sosa 03-22-2005 10:10 PM

wow that is crazy

thumbsdepot 03-22-2005 10:12 PM

If you view the sub pages using page snooper you'll notice this code:

script
eval("locati"+"on.hr"+"ef='in"+"dex.html';")
script

It redirects all his subpages to his index page. But his index page has a pr of 0 so I don't know how he got ranked so high up in the searches.

That's a good point, I actually thought they did ... but apparently, this one slipped through the algo.

That guy is elite. He owns pages 4 - 44 for "milf pics". That wont last long though. No doubt plenty of webmasters have already reported him.

SmokeyTheBear 03-22-2005 10:25 PM

oh i see now , heh he made so many it was hard to tell

nah i figured that part out , its pagerank being displayed and a frame buster,

basically he just used an automated system to generate hundreds of domains/pages interlinked them , submit them to wiki blogs and sit back and rake in the cash, i just didnt know google still fell for it

Gateway69 03-22-2005 10:32 PM

wow.. man thats a big hole in the system..

whats eec btw?

SmokeyTheBear 03-22-2005 10:34 PM

the key is using an existing high traffic high ranked domain to make all the subs, i think only certain domains have the ability for this to be done, perhaps because of the way the domain no-ip works ( for lots of different people ) it gets whitelisted,

fünkmaster 03-22-2005 10:34 PM

... stop trying to find something magic here, just heaps of doorway pages coming from a PR6 domain.

spam report fieled, another competitor down.

I agree nothing magic about it now that i look close, only thing magical is the fact google still falls for it in such a blatant example.

no-ip says they are recieving a ddos attack :) i think its just google hits

... trust me, I do play the game better, reporting spam is just one part of my marketing mix.

KRL 03-22-2005 10:48 PM

that guy must be raking in the bucks.

Napolean 03-22-2005 10:50 PM

i could do that, i just dont wanna

fünkmaster 03-22-2005 10:55 PM

... the guy is an idiot for burning his primary domain for shit like that, simply should haved use some other domain, off topic black hat style on primary domains will never pay off, besides their service is used by millions of people daily ... remember what happened to partypoker.com ??

http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Apartypoker.%2Bcom

Yeah i think its only google hits to.. lol
I dont understand why they dont redirect all this traffic to something else atm.

stizzous 03-22-2005 11:12 PM

that is absolutely amazing

from just a quick check, he has every result from #44-200 leading to his page.

enough to make any spammer proud

xclusive 03-22-2005 11:52 PM

PHPdude 03-23-2005 01:31 AM

that's a pretty neat trick

Raf1 03-23-2005 01:36 AM

I like his style, hehe

Funky Bastard 03-23-2005 02:01 AM

So how do you do this?????????????????????????

emthree 03-23-2005 02:52 AM

SHHHHHHHHHH!@!!!!!!!!! :(
Btw: owning multiple SE listings per domain in the SERPS are not all that uncommon for phrases or extended terms.

Steen2 03-23-2005 02:57 AM

Looks like the work of the pureteenz.com people.

DarkJedi 03-23-2005 02:59 AM

i just searched for "milf pics" and he's nowhere in the serps

Dirty F 03-23-2005 03:00 AM

Sorry, i wont do it again.

SMG 03-23-2005 03:19 AM

thats crazy shit, I'd just report him to no-ip for abuse though ... I once saw someone use no-ip for a virus, reported em and was gone within a day or so

chupachups 03-23-2005 03:22 AM

Niceeeeeee!

Satisfaction 03-23-2005 03:33 AM

damn he must be rolling in it

who 03-23-2005 03:39 AM

Owning every result from #44 to #200 isn't going to make as much as owning the #1 spot. He sux.

Roald 03-23-2005 03:49 AM

Too bad he wasted his time. He should've known there is no money in SEO ;)))

reynold 03-23-2005 03:52 AM

Thanks for the info.

xl11 03-23-2005 04:03 AM

You've just found one of the secret WG's SEO networks :winkwink:
