Good software will cost you 10-12gs
Good list will cost you depending on the size and % about the same min.

Not to mention all the unforseen cost.servers,hosting,etc
Not something you can just jump into for 3000 unless your going to buy a copy fo sendsafe and use geocities hosting then run it off your home dial up
