Well if he lives in my state, we pay 35% fed 8% state and 15% FICA(social security etc). The last 15% falls off over 90k but Bush is trying to stop it from dropping off. We have to pay for the war somehow.

It is right. If you get your overtime for the hole year that mounth you get it taxfree. You normal pay allso are taxfree that mounth.

Well, the higher tax rate in Denmark is 68% so don't complain :)

Over 90k it is 35% plus state which at 8% mine is one of the worst. So he was off a bit if he meant the US.

im paying about 10% off my gross income. its not that bad i guess....tho im in canada.
