Bigger affiliates, how are your sales patterns?
The past 6 hours we only had 1 sale with CCBILL, the previous 6 hours we had 23 sales..
Our servers are and have been running all the time smoothly - our traffic is stable. 1.2 - 1.7 mill. uniques each day (to our galleries) Are we really the only ones having these insane patterns every other day? This is not a CCBILL bitching thread - I just want to know now if this is perfectly normal.. to me it seems 100% impossible... My guess is that I've experienced these mysterious holes without sales like 50 times now and 10 of those times I've done test signups and as fare as I remember they always came through. So all shows me that this isn't a CCBILL problem. Please note on my screenshot that the sales are not slowly fading to a stop, they just STOP after hours of steady sales. The explanation is not that those hours are just dead saleswise, because we have tons of other days with 23+ sales in those 6 hours. This thing just happens like every 3-5 day or so. This is not just a CCBILL issue. We recently had a spot on Sleazy (for a non ccbill site) doing a stunning 18 sales on the first day, so we ordered another spot for the same site using the same gallery template using content from the same update. This second spot came on a week after (no one else promoted the same site on Sleazy meanwhile) .. the second spot did 1 sale the first day... All I'm asking .. is this really normal?.. we have sites that NEVER shows this strange behaviour - we can run spots with it over and over again and the sales are always stable Creative responds only please.. from 30+ sales a day affiliates http://www.thumbcore.com/images/ccbillstats.gif |
Gallery game is a bitch even on high spots one day 40 joins a week later same template 5-10 joins. The only way are you are really going to know if a sponsor is fucking with your numbers is to be your own sponsor

bump for a good thread

bump bump cause one mubp wasnt enough

sales seem to stumble on ccbill often to extremes. good sales that seem correct and go along with other programs OR 0 sales all day
|
my sales have been shit for pretty much the past 2 weeks with ccbill. maybe 2-3 good days but then I'm right back up there to have shitty days.
|
since the stats problem ccbill had around 1 week ago, my sales are shit, somebody over there should realize the problem

I'm definitely guessing it's hijacking spyware.
I can imagine the algorithms in such: "Redirect during randomized time-intervals" - On/Off... :Oh crap I think the Adult industry needs to create & distribute an own equivalent to AdAware / SpyBot Search-And-Destroy. The regular software used either don't catch the crap doing this or a great deal of all surfers just have not even heard about these things. If one would put on a tin-foil hat... one could start suspecting all kinds of things. The only thing I'm thinking now though... is that hijacking IS happening. The question is: is it really THIS big? :disgust  |

I noticed the same thing yesterday. I am not a 30 a day with ccbill but my traffic is stable and when I see that I have 10% of my daily average of sales at 4 in the afternoon I know something is up. I hope it catches up as yesterday we got a spurt towards the end of the day. Are they delaying sales or something?
