This was a good decision. This is how most terminally ill people die.

Rest in peace

Starving to death - so cruel.

Spunky 03-22-2005 08:00 AM

The best thing for such a sad situation..I wouldn't want to live like that either

nojob 03-22-2005 08:02 AM

although i feel that her husband is a fucked up person, she should not have to live this way.

MGibson 03-22-2005 08:02 AM

It's not gonna happen trust me. They are already appealing it.

Guess who has the hosting job...

Good decision. It's about time.

I watched the news this morning while video was processing, and they mentioned it was like the 11th or 17th appeal or something to that extent over 15 years. At what fucking point does this "due process" arguement no longer hold water?

It's like Demi Moore in, "A Few Good Men",.. "I object", "Over ruled", "No, I strenuously object"...

If you ever have a wife that happens to, just make up some bullshit about how she wanted to die, and an activist judge will believe you.

Been web hosting MANY of her sites, just like Jessica Lunsford's websites.

I agree with the decision, but the starving thing ... why not give her a lethal injection and get it over with? I mean they don't starve those who get the death penalty ... it's cruel.

Greg Jacobson 03-22-2005 10:48 AM

This is a good topic to bring up to alert you to who the morons are. Just ask someone what they think should be done in this case.

Just curious, has anybody watched the videos of her?

Tracking a Balloon:

Responding to Music:

Doesn't like the Swab Test:

She's mentally disabled, folks, not a vegetable. If my salad responded with glee to music, I don't think I'd be eating it.

She also did NOT have a living will, there's only the word of her husband, who's been living with another woman for many years and they have two children together.

I cannot watch those videos and honestly say I think that woman should be starved to death because of hearsay. At least executed criminals and animals get a quick death.

Somewhere along the line a CAT scan was done and it showed that the cortex of her brain no longer existed and had filled with spinal fluid...which means without growing a new cortex she is beyond improvement in her condition. In addition her EEG was flatlined...which means there is not any signifcant brain activity. At this point the husband being informed that her condition was hopeless...he discontinued seeking out treatment to improve her condition. Her parents and he had a major falling out over this decision...but it was his decision to make and not theirs.

It is untrue that he was the only one that was told that she would not want to live via life support. More than one friend of hers testified to this in court.

It is my understanding that the husband does not stand to gain any money from her death other than the possibility that she may have a life insurance policy. She was awarded money for her care and he was awarded money from the same suit for the damage done to his wife. After he collected his share of the award and the attorneys collected their share of the award the remainder of the money was placed in trust for her care.

From another thread about this subject.
