What is the cheapest price you can build a high-end computer for?

I came up with $550 without a monitor

ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe Motherboard
xp3000 amd cpu
80 gb western digital hd
ATI RADEON 9600 XT (128 MB) Graphic Card
kingston ddr ram 512k
and the little shit, keyboard, mouse

didnt include a cdrom or dvd drive

is this a good price?

also this is for my perticular needs, i dont play alot of games on the pc hardly ever.

If you can get shit cheaper hook me up with your source :thumbsup

not high-end. athlon cpu are history :2 cents:
looks decent for 550, add a little more (around 800-1K total) and get an athlon 64 (socket 939) :2 cents:

look on pricewatch. if you don't want to fuck around getting parts from different compagny, get 'em from newegg.com :thumbsup

I got $428
And thats w/o your keyboard/mouse
So add $50 for both
I can get it for Under $500 then

512mb ram isn't high end, and you want a 74gig raptor sata drive.

That's a nice price, but if that's not a "high end" computer in my mind.
