Terri Schiavo - being starved to death?
 

I just saw this site about a lady being starved to death? I was, well searching for games online and some how get to this website.

She has been dying a painfull death for the last 15 years........

She will die from dehydration and electrolyte overloads before starving to death. Organs will start to fail.

She would not die a painful death.... She is in PVS and to make sure she would be given massive doses of morphine, this would also speed up the process.

As time went on she become totaly unaware of anything happening.... That is assuming she is aware of anything now

Watch the videos of her on http://terrisfight.org and read the "Myths about Terri" section. She responds to stimuli (which under the law makes her not PVS) and attempts to speak, and numerous doctors have said she would improve from the rehabilitation her "husband" has denied.

What's amazing is that this exact same thing happens to people every single day in who are taken off feeding support systems and thier family lets them die in peace.

NINETEEN JUDGES have already reviewed the evidence the doctors, her family, etc have provided and ALL NINETEEN feel she will never recover and that her husband has the right to decide her fate.

I know I wouldn't want to live like that, nor could I watch a loved one go through it, even if it was my kid :(

It's ironic we can put our pets to death "humanely", but the law prevents us from doing the same with humans.

She stated her wishes to NOT be kept alive like this at a family funeral to her husband, her brother in law, sister in law, and several non-related individuals.

Why would you FORCE someone to suffer against their own wishes, as corroborated by half a dozen witnesses?

Her parents have said IN COURT that even if Terri had told THEM that she didnt want to be kept alive in this way, that they would STILL fight to force her to be kept alive this way!

How fucked up is *THAT*?

God this whole thing makes me ill.. This is none of our business. This same decision is made by legal gaurdians across the nation every single day. This is political football! It's shameful.

this is just food for the media... for fuck's sake, just like most things in the 'news' today, it's none of anyone's business.

I watched the videos, they're bs. One brief second of movement out of years of nothing.. remember shes been this way for 15 years now.

but if she could recover with terapy would be good for her family to give it a try dont you think

NO ONE has even hinted that she will recover with therapy.
