Browsing through a mainstream forums and i see sites that make $500 a month selling for $10,000 and sites making $2,000 a month going for $50,000. I also thought it was funny when a guy was selling a penis enlargement site that gets about 100 seo hits a day and generates like $3 a day off adsense instead of sending it to a sponsor :1orglaugh off to build mainstream sites :Graucho

If their traffic and revenue is stable, then I would say it seems quite normal and reasonable.

yes, there is such a prices for mainstream sites, but mainly for some directories/services/listings cause they generate stable income per month.

Yup, you'll usually pay a premium for a business that generates a consistent revenue.

$500/month site for $10K is 20 months revenue, that's a fair deal.

I know buyers who will pay upto 60 months revenue for any stable site :2 cents:
