$59 Dedicated Server + 2000GB Bandwith ....
... it's out there, I am shocked, just google for it and you'll find. fuck, 4 years ago, someone offering $3 per Gig was almost a rebel ...
|
you get what you pay for

Seems like a cool deal.

I bought my server from iWeb when they had their 10mbit unmetered offer..
I paid $69 for the server, and I'm very happy with the server and service.. :thumbsup |
It's prolly a 1000 up 1000 down marketing gimmick as some providers love to fool people with lately. Meaning you actually get only 1000 GB (out)
And if it's an ezzi reseller, ezzi has some serious burst limitations which make it hard if not impossible to use 2000 GB There is no real 2000 GB out, not capped lower than 10mbps, and no additional sustained burst limits, at that price that I'd know of. Not from a real host anyways. 15 yo's can write a lot of thing on their web sites |

For some companies it may be a loss leader. One of my servermatrix servers costs me $69/mo a year ago (2.4GHz Celeron, 1200Gb out transfer). The same server is now $99/mo if you sign up today.

Tech support - great Customer service - so/so |
even if it's 1GB in, 1GB out, it's still a pretty good deal....
|
Foundrynap back in business again? :1orglaugh
|
It's all about customer service... Price is one thing, but customer service is the core of any hosting relationship.
