Jägermeister or Fernet Branca :thumbsup

DaddysGirl 03-21-2005 08:10 AM

flat coke will settle your stomach quick..crackers...black licorice is supposed to help too......and gatorade to rehydrate...

Vitasoy 03-21-2005 08:13 AM

Boil crushed mint leaves. Remove leaves by straining water. This makes a mint tea. Drink the tea. This settles the stomach as well as inhibits vomiting. Plus this is one way to keep your body hydrated if you're unable to keep anything else down.

It really works! Those are herb mix based alcohols. The herbs settle your stomach and the alcohol takes care of bacteria. :winkwink:

Honestly, for an upset stomach, take a small hit of weed. Should help it out ...

If you want to go the other way, put yourself on the "brat diet" which consists of ginger ale, tea, saltines, and applesauce.

The best thing you can do is have only clear liquids until the virus or food poisening you have runs it course. Putting solids in your tummy is just going to make you feel even worse. Little sips of clear liquids (water, apple juice, chicken or beef broth) until you can keep them down. Other than that, you are just going to have to wait it out.
Hope you start feeling better soon!

Try Gravol (aka as dramamine). It might cause drowsiness though.
