A person I know is a honest and straight person having a PayPal account closed by PayPal as he has a "Mature Audience Website" He has not used PayPal trough that site, he is paid by affiliate checks. Nothing to do with PayPal at all. He used PayPal to collect money to the Tsunami Disaster from webmasters and contribute himself with 5% of his income. It's the money PayPal has stolen. How greedy can a company be? Please publish this info everywhere you can

Tell your friend to contact the attorney general's office in his state and file a complaint. PayPal is scared to death of MORE complaints to attorney generals' offices.

We were closed by Paypal and they sent all the money owed within a few weeks.

But my advice is IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH ADULT GIVE PAYPAL A VERY WIDE BERTH.

Unfortunately few seem to have worked that one out.

Seriously, their highly restrictive policies regarding content,etc are well known - anyone still using PayPal with anything even possibly questionable is asking for trouble - PayPal likes to wait until the balance/activity is high and then they suspend the account; too much activity, regardless of content/product, alone can sometimes lead to suspension.

PayPalSucks.com is ok, but there's certainly room for more anti PayPal sites ... I have AvoidPayPal.com / AvoidEbay.com domains - if you and/or someone else here wants to setup a decent anti-PayPal site and needs some decent domain names to use in promotion, let me know and I'll update the DNS asap.

Exactly what PayPal asked him to do. They know that people can't risk a lot of money to pay lawyers.
If things like this happen in Europe, you just go to the police and tell them that they have stolen your money, and then the police take care of it. You don't have to sell your house to pay for your legal rights..
But PayPal forgot one thing. I ( and others ) paid to that Tsunami account as well, and PayPal has to explain to me why they took my money intended for the Tsunami victims. And of course some press releases will help as well.
