I don't know, but when I have tried to watch mpg files inside my browser, it
tries to download the file before playing it.. Don't think you can stream it..

yes an mpeg should/ will (psuedo stream) the same way a .wmv file psuedo streams when uploaded on a regular server. Not to be confused with real streaming video like on a windows streaming server.

Make sure your Mime types are set correctly in Apache. :-)

pretty sure you can not :( you can stream wmv files (with some special sever software i believe) and rm files, but i do not think i have ever seen mgp's stream

Actually youre wrong,
First. its called 'progressive download, and second , mpeg does not do this the same way wmv's do. WMV will actually buffer while mpgs do not.

Look up "embed src=" on google. There are different ways to do it.

Ok maybe not the same way but the end result is the same as in they both (wmv & mpg) will start to play in Windows Media Player before the whole clip is downloaded.
