If you are still at school, and making enough money to live on your own, and you decide to live with your parents, that's possibly the best decision you ever made (unless you spend all your money on bullshit) :)

totally agree!! fuck what others think/say, stay with them through college, get your education, save up that cash, and make sure your credit is good before you decide to move out, and you'll be more than fine! :thumbsup

no it's not, it's called mooching of your parents and not having any courage to set out on your own........I really don't know how anyone over 20 (especially guys) can still live with their parents, you miss out on alot of self growth by doing that IMO.

chaze 03-21-2005 01:30 AM

$520 g's

:thumbsup

In fact the new carpet and backyard remodel are happening tommarrow actually today.

Should be very nice.

reynold 03-21-2005 01:32 AM

I'm buying an apartment in the next 1-3 months then if things go well at the end of the year I'll buy 3-4 acres of land close to the city.

jamesonxx 03-21-2005 01:35 AM

I agree, but it seems to be the trend nowadays. All of my friends are at least 25 and up and 95% still live at home with their parents even after graduating college. Most of my female friends do it because they spend so much money going out, on designer clothes like Prada and Louis Vuitton purses, professional makeup when they go out and loads of other stuff, and they would not be able to live like that if they got their own place, espeially in southern cali.

And all my guy friends live at home so they can spend their money on luxury cars so they can "front" and look like they have money even though they live at home.

It seems like everyone I know is like that. I think I am the only one amone my friends who actually lives on their own. My best friend is 27 turning 28 soon and still lives at home. Her bro is over 30 and still lives at home too, even tho he makes over 80k a yr. He just saves all his $ and bought a house in Vegas which he rents out, but he still lives at home :helpme

No one seems to want to move out, because everyone around here spends all their money on going out and designer clothes...

yep it's ridiculous, everyone wants make themselves look like a "baller" but when you look deeper into their lives you see there is nothing there, all fronting bs really and that seems to be the norm now in the trendy crowd. I used to have friends that would make up the stupidest lies in clubs or to other people just to make themselves look better, couldn't stand that. hehehe to each his own I guess, I just don't know how people can live like that. Your $300 shirt means nothing if you didn't pay for the toilet paper you are using or the electiricity that's used to power your computer :)

It's impossible to live a 'normal' young adult life under the same roof as your parents. I finally had a taste of the freedom I longed for since I was about 12 when I left home at 18. After that, there is no going back for me.

My parents are wonderful people, but I can't stand being around them :winkwink:

quantum-x 03-21-2005 02:15 AM

Had one 6 months after I turned 18.

zentz 03-21-2005 02:24 AM
