Chameleon submitter help?

What's the code you put in your gallery where you want your reciprocals inserted?

You don't have to put code in at all, you just edit the template inside chamelon if you want it different that default. But default usually works fine for most people, just select the amount of recips you want.

Here is a tutorial that quite a few people have responded well to: http://www.babagirl.com/ChamSub/

I don't want to change the recip template, I want to control where it goes on my gallery page.

Is it <!--reciptable--> or something like that?

yeah, chameleon has generated the recips already...the default recips works fine all the time & make it sure that the database has been updated always...btw, that TUTORIAL helps me too...try it :)

Once you get to Step 4 or so in Chameleon -- gallery duplication -- you will see the code you need to put in your gallery template. Just pop that in wherever you want it to show up, and voila. I think the code for a recip is <recip> but i'm not sure.

I must not be explaining myself well. I can see the recip table code in step 3 but it's grayed out... I'm presuming this is because CS doesn't know where to put the recip table in the gallery. I've gotten as far as selecting the gallery to be duplicated..

It knows where to put the recips in the table, but not where to put the table on the page.

Wait... Does it automatically insert the reciprocals table at the top of the page right after the <body> tag no matter what?

Dagwolf 03-19-2005 11:25 PM

cuz it's not working..

Holy crapola...

The problem was that I failed to click "Save & Continue" on step 2. Go figure.

Let's see if I have more luck now.

Ok, I don't like THIS!
Here's my original gallery...

Here's what it looks like with recips inserted automatically:
http://asianangels.sxjs.com/asian5.html

I wanted them to go between the header and the first image table. :(

You should be able to put this code where you want the recips to be displayed (I'm assuming you are using 3) save it, and then select that page to be the one duplicated and all should be well.
Code:

<table align="center" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="2" width="80%">
  <tr>
    <td>
      <div align="center"><recip></div>
    </td>
    <td>
      <div align="center"><recip></div>
    </td>
    <td>
      <div align="center"><recip></div>
    </td>
  </tr>
</table>
<br>
