American Express sent me JELLY BEANS - and look what happened
 

Fucking card companies. They sent jelly beans in the mail as part of some new anti-identity theft campaign. I ate them yesterday.

Today my tounge has been itching me all day long and my gums are swollen. WTF. I don't think the issue is cavities, I get checked regularly.

Why would I? I ate them last night and around noon today noticed that my gums are swollen and my tongue is itching and sensitive. Never happened before, so this must be it.

No joke at all. A friend of mine also got jelly beans from them last week.

Sounds shady, might want to call and see if they were sending out candy to customers.

I called Amex and they DO have a new Jelly Beans campaign. Weird stuff. My gums are still swollen.. will see how this develops tomorrow. I don't think I was allergic to one of the flavors, but it's a possibility :)

I think the allergy possibility is the most likely reason for your swollen gums.

Thing is, I've eaten jelly beans since I was a kid, and always tried all the possible flavors. But I sure hope it was just an allergy :)
