Does niche dating work?
 
I can imagine black or asian dating sites run very well, as all members will be asians or blacks. But what about dating sites in the shemale or mature niche, just to name an example? Aren't surfers in this niche just looking for a satisfaction to their fantasies? Then would they actually join a site to find tranny or mature dates? I wonder...

Okay, let's take your concept one step further.... how about ANIME/HENTAI dating? LOL I'm sure there's a market (albeit small) for anything... I think ;)

People don't DATE shemales and trannies in the traditional sense. They look for sexual encounters. Plenty of shemale escort sites already exist.

Actually, I think it would work well....there is a dating site for video gamers I've seen, that seems to be growing rapidly.

People interested in hentai/anime are probably interested in finding people with the same interest as them.

Whether they are willing to pay for it though (instead of buying a new anime video ;p), is another question completely :)

Yeah I ran into a dating program offering sites catering to those with aids, guess as long as you have access to the niche traffic i'm sure the conversions are incredible.

Actually man, I think it could be a huge demographic....anime/hentai is HUGE in eastern canada, Japan (duh!) and many states.

No idea on the European market, but those markets or with targeted traffic, could do nicely :2 cents:

Ahh, no that wasn't what I was thinking hehe....

I just thought a dating site geared towards guys/girls who like anime could work, hook them up with each other....just like sites geared towards smokers or pet-lovers
