what converts in yahoo groups
 

Lately ive been hitting up yahoo groups hard with a certain dating site, does anyone else have suggestions for other programs that convert well with this type of traffic. I know it can be tricky at times to get it to convert. Drop me affiliate codes ill sign up and send traffic.

yeah ive been hitting it up hard but once they go ratio im going to want to test out some other programs. pay per FREE sign up with NO RATIO is the best thing you could have for this traffic or any traffic probably..

Try dating gold.. It converts VERY Well for Yahoo Groups traffic. =)

Unless you're buying traffic (retail), and have short-term liquidity issues, I'd definitely recommend revenue share.

I dont have yahoo groups traffic. but dating sites i've promoted that convert well overall are:

sexsearch, aff, aac, personalbucks (targetted niche sites)

btw if anyone has any sponsors that they know work well in yahoo groups besides dating that would be cool to hear about also.

I can't say for certain which will/won't (I don't send Yahoo group traffic to any of my sponsors), but AdultActionCam sure does - and as a dating site it may be a little more credible.

Epic Cams will take it. And I can tell you that from my own personal experience, it converts extremely well with Yahoo Groups traffic.

I've got a few small groups (less than 1K members) and I get ratios of around 1:75 - 1:100 with Epic Cams.

these are my own groups that I created and people willing join of their own free will...
nevermind, I'm saying too much and giving too much info away...

so, posting links on the front page of a yahoo group is now spam? wow...times have changed...LOL

serisouly though, most of the money I make from yahoo groups is from links on groups, not mailing members...mailing members click, but they rarely sign up...the links on the front page and links section are where the money is at

i have one group that clears $300-500 a month just from links on the front page

Yahoo member opts in to yahoo group 1

You recruit member from yahoo group 1 to your yahoo group 2

To prevent any problems, definitely put rules on your yahoo group (#2 above) re terms of joining.

Plus avoid sending ads only... Send on topic content with simple link ... to your group members only.

Perhaps the provision linked to in an earlier post above was for people that join groups solely to blast ads directly to group members. :2 cents:

I'm guessing either they're unclear on how Yahoo! Groups works or they're uncomfortable with the fact that you can import email addresses that haven't opted in.

If you run your group cleanly (ie don't import email addresses that haven't opted in and don't change user mail delivery settings), the emails to the group are more legit than double opt-in.

The surfer has to create a Yahoo account, opt-in to your group with image verification and then have his delivery preferences set to "Receive All Emails" in order to get your emails.

Also, surfers can't get to the front page of your group without first logging in to Yahoo and then confirming they're 18+.
