I signed up with your free host the same day you announced it on this board. I have had trouble with it every day since and now it is DNS ERROR.

I have E-mailed you but I have not received a response (since your address is pornconnected.com I suppose your E-mail is down also).

I use TGSW daily to submit to TGP's. My hits are way down and I am being blacklisted on some sights because of being hosted on a problem host. In addition I had uploaded some AVS sites.

You talked a good talk about your free host but already it is screwed up. I hope you read this board daily so that you can offer some info about if and when you are going to have your service stablized.

For those of you that are going to jump my ass about using a free host. I have paid hosting for my major projects. I only use free hosts for things that I do not want to burn my bandwidth on.

Anyhow I am looking for some kind of response from you.

which tgp blacklisted you? come on, dont freak us all

I have deleted my TGSW Logs from yesterdays submissions (as I do daily) and I did not write down the ones that were new blacklists and in addition I did not go through the entire log as it just takes to long to go through several hundred TGP's. But I went through enough to see that there were some new ones that have blacklisted me. Using free hosts TGP's blacklist different hosts for different reasons, so it is not that big of a deal to me.

The thing is Rollin2 just very recently, on a very long thread, talked his service up so well that I am somewhat disappointed that it has already gone the way of all free hosts I have ever used (which are many).

Hacker attacks caused the kernel to panic.
There is nothing i can do to help this, however, we are installing some new things today, to make it auto-restart itself and then come back online within minutes.

Kernel panic is like the same thing as a "blue screen of death" for windows.

At least you responded which is something alot of free hosts apparently do not do.

Maybe someone can answer this question for me. Why is it that free hosts seem to have so many more problems then a paid host?

Thats Becuase People Running Freehosts are not admins too they are Just Webmasters that dont know thier Operating system

I have had expierence with redhat linux amongst other unix os's and NT (advanced server).

I never said i was an admin.

rollin and jeff are working on the servers, it should be fixed soon =)

TGPs might blacklist your host, but not you for using it. It's not the same.

nah it was only down, not redirecting traffic...

i have had a few people tell me they submitted today to all the major places, and everything was good!

Your service was up so I thought great I will run TGSW. After I ran TGSW I checked one of the galleries and your service is DNS ERROR again. So there will probably be some more TGP's blacklisting.

Soul_Rebel: Technically there is a difference but the result is the same. Your gallery is rejected, or if you have other content on a free host, it is only available part of the time.

I am going to give serious consideration to stop using a free host for any purpose. For what little I gain from their use, just doesn't seem to be worth the effort of having to keep moving from one to another.

If you go to the pornconnected homepage you'll see it says "an atomichosts.com service".
I used atomichosts about 2-3 months ago for galleries and stuff. It's the worst paid hosting i have ever used. They had very much downtime and got very slow if you just got listed on some big tgp's.
And now after trying pornconnected for two days it has already been down quite a lot.
