depends really.... do you want an slr type camera? something to fit in your pocket? ...

SLR- canon rebel hands down
Sony DSC-T1 is nice, great shots, and fits in pocket
Canon PowerShot SD500 also a great one...

best to go out and test them out and see which one fits your needs best...

http://www.dpreview.com best site to check out reviews on them too :thumbsup

i already have a pocket olympus, which is decent but its not the quality i'm looking for. i really need a camera that will also help correct some of my mistakes as well and i dont mind if its not a pocket camera. i just wanna take better quality pics

i would go with any of the three there... they have enough options and settings to get some nice shots :upsidedow

Hum, do you own a 35mm with some descend lens? If so buy a digital camera to fit those.

DO NOT buy a Kodak or a Sony camera. For an idiot camera, I would look into Olympus or Nikon lines if is just to post pics on the web. :)

Any Canon PowerShot will do.

most stock lenses suck... so if youre gonna need zoom, wide angle, all in goo quality find a camera that allows you to change the lense :)
