there was some dutch lady on tvsome while ago married with a guy who killed 2 people and is in deathrow atm. Can't understand what it is that makes hem do these things.

If you've had very little luck with the ladies throughout life, commit a double murder and you'll finally get some interested in you.

the fame... some people are just twisted. most notorious criminals and serial killers get fan mail and proposals. it's sick.

Sadly, most women never get the emotional "nourishment" they need from most men.

For facing his own death, under circumstances that permit the easy construction of a romantic fantasy, Scott Peterson is a fountain of emotional "broth" if not quite "nourishment".

I don't know if this is the case, but, I know lots of Women Servicemen (ie, Marines, Navy, etc.) are looking for "contract" marraiges. They just need the wedding to get that double pay every month and in this case, you know he'll never be around to bug you!

Marriage is the ultimate punishment - worse than the death penalty! Maybe they just want him to suffer more. :)

3) She feels that she needs a challenge in a relationship
4) She wants to compare herself to other girls who dont have a popular bf
5) She has been abused/accused herself and wants to believe he is innocent

my guess is the fame......just to be known as his wife.
i don't understand why any sane, normal person without those intentions would want to marry someone who is on death row.

some women are just into people in prison and especially those they know will never get out. read up about it and you will find the thinking and rationalizing behind this way of thinking interesting to say the least.

All the research on the subject I've ever seen indicates WOMEN suffer in marriage more, which is to say the ways in which quality of life are usually measured -- self-esteem, stress level, a general feeling of contentment -- decline for women, while men seem to thrive in marriage.

I'm not at all surprised by this.

Villains, especially really sadistic, heartless and implacable ones, are not exactly unheard of in women's sexual fantasies.

Independent of our intellectual, moral assessment of their acts, "bad guys" who show themselves capable of committing atrocities convey a resolve, a clarity of purpose, a lack of weak equivocation that simply turns many women on.
