They promote it as the first lasermouse around. Anybody using it already? Just installed it and I have to get used to it a bit I guess.

First lasermouse - they don't have experience - it will fuck up within 2 months :2 cents:

I'm using Razer diamondback, currently best precision and dpi optical mouse and it rocks :) 1600 dpi while logitech mx 1000 has only 800 :2 cents:

I've heard the MX1000 is a great mouse but I don't have any personal experience with it.

They should be a bit more precise, but I needed a new mouse anyway as I kept replacing batteries with my old one.

got my mx700 optical rechargeble as well... then again im no designer...

maybe when this mouse dies but I dont see the need for a laser mouse

I got one of the early Mx700s and I hated it, at first it was good but after a while it started to skip pixels or something. Very annoying.

It's time for my optical mouse to retire now.

I'm also using one for last few weeks...My main reason for buying one was the integrated li-ion battery...one night charge covers whole week.. I was waiting for something like that to move to wireless :thumbsup

I got a LX 7000 myself

I like the mouse, but hate the software that comes with it.

The software actually slows the mouse down. When I first plugged it in using my old logitech software it rocked. Now that I have the software installed for this mouse it is a tad slow. Anyone else notice this?

Of course I can't find the old software one the download page anymore.

Strange thing is the thumb button don't seem to work on some sites. It should be programmed to go back one page. Anyone?

i have no use for it... my microsoft optical mouse it's fine for what i use it for.

of course, when the prices come down, i'll snag the laser mouse just so i can be cool :thumbsup
