They promote it as the first lasermouse around. Anybody using it already? Just installed it and I have to get used to it a bit I guess.

BastarD 03-18-2005 02:08 AM

First lasermouse - they don't have experience - it will fuck up within 2 months :2 cents:

I'm using Razer diamondback, currently best precision and dpi optical mouse and it rocks :) 1600 dpi while logitech mx 1000 has only 800 :2 cents:

The Sultan Of Smut 03-18-2005 02:12 AM

I've heard the MX1000 is a great mouse but I don't have any personal experience with it.

They should be a bit more precise, but I needed a new mouse anyway as I kept replacing batteries with my old one.

DutchTeenCash 03-18-2005 02:31 AM

flashfire 03-18-2005 02:35 AM

I got one of the early Mx700s and I hated it, at first it was good but after a while it started to skip pixels or something. Very annoying.

webcrawler 03-18-2005 02:37 AM

It's time for my optical mouse to retire now.

beta-tester 03-18-2005 02:50 AM

Abso-fucking-lutely ... There is no comparison. I have had mine for about a month and a half and I can't imagine using anything else. It's awesome...

DraX 03-18-2005 06:33 AM

Got mine a week ago

And yea its a gaming mouse, dont need that good DPI when working......my oppinion

Arty 03-18-2005 07:31 AM

I'm also using one for last few weeks...My main reason for buying one was the integrated li-ion battery...one night charge covers whole week.. I was waiting for something like that to move to wireless :thumbsup

gecko 03-18-2005 07:39 AM

I got a LX 7000 myself

spanky part 2 03-18-2005 07:45 AM

I like the mouse, but hate the software that comes with it.

The software actually slows the mouse down. When I first plugged it in using my old logitech software it rocked. Now that I have the software installed for this mouse it is a tad slow. Anyone else notice this?

Of course I can't find the old software one the download page anymore.

Roald 03-18-2005 07:45 AM

Strange thing is the thumb button don't seem to work on some sites. It should be programmed to go back one page. Anyone?

psyko514 03-18-2005 07:46 AM

i have no use for it... my microsoft optical mouse it's fine for what i use it for.

of course, when the prices come down, i'll snag the laser mouse just so i can be cool :thumbsup

i didn't mean it as an insult. i just like having gadgets, so i'd buy it to show it off.

ahh how sweet of you ;)))

Anyway I bought it as I kept replacing batteries in my old logitech (Logitech® Cordless Click!? Plus Optical). So anyone interested in buying that one and a MX700? ;))

Corona 03-18-2005 08:24 AM

I have had one for a few months now and love it.

JOKER 03-18-2005 08:30 AM

One good feature of this mouse is that its Rechargeable.
Rapid-charging base station makes sure the mouse is always ready, and the lithium-ion battery never needs replacing. Now you can do away with batteries.

Juicy D. Links 03-18-2005 08:42 AM

And here I thought I was the only one geekish enought to use a Razer diamondback..

Had a logitec before I got the Razer, and won't EVER go back to any other mouse...

The Razer is well worth the money... :thumbsup
