Erik lost to Barrera at the "Once And For All" 3rd fight: http://www.hboppv.com/past_events/ar...ales_barrera3/
If you did'nt see that one, you missed toe to toe action.

anyway... I will be at the Saddle Ranch, City Walk, in Universal City if it does'nt rain. I'm rooting for Erik Morales but I like Manny and his crazy fighting style. It's gonna be a good fight. :thumbsup

SetTheWorldonFire 03-17-2005 12:54 PM

what... no boxing fans in here?

Sosa 03-17-2005 12:56 PM

I'll watch some of it but be flipping back and forth between the basketball games.

BigWebRev 03-17-2005 12:57 PM

Morales :thumbsup

loverboy 03-17-2005 01:12 PM

Pacman! This will give Morales his 1st TKO, Manny will beat him with his slashing punching speed. Pacquaio was among the top pound per pound boxer by Ring Magazine.

galleryseek 03-17-2005 01:17 PM

eh, i'm not paying to see that shit.

I'll either look for a live feed on the web or watch it next week as it airs on HBO.

sweetME 03-17-2005 01:31 PM

I would watch it, it's so exciting. But my husband already told me that we're going watch basketball

Gman.357 03-17-2005 01:32 PM

I hate basketball. I might watch this.

SetTheWorldonFire 03-17-2005 01:35 PM

definatly worth my money.

If you did'nt see the Barrera VS Morales fight then you don't know what you will be missing. I'm telling you these fights are the best. In that fight, Morales practically had a broken nose in the 5th round, yet he boxed toe to toe and lost to decision.

That's what everyone is waiting for. The hunger for a knockout is there. It needs to happen. I think Pacman can do it too, but Morales has a lot of heart. Don't think I'll be betting any money on this. Just wanna see a good fight.

Manny will surely get an advantage here. The last time he met Barrera, he won TKO on the 11th round. Pacquiao's last defeat was 1999 and from that, he has yet to taste a loss after 15 fights.

While Erik's 2 losses came from Barrera in the last 2 years. Now, we do the math.

Yeah, that was indeed a fight. However, i would say I enjoyed Barrera's fight with Pacquio (Nov. 2003) at Texas where it was a very humiliating defeat for Marco in his career. Manny is at his prime and this is now the very best time for him to shine, make a name for himself in the world of boxing.

same here, can't wait. I heard in the Philippines, everytime manny fights, they treat him as a National hero and more than half of the 80 Million population watch his title matches. Basketball is the official past time of the Filipinos, but when Manny puts his gloves, everything is put in halt just for boxing.

Anthony 03-17-2005 01:56 PM

Mabuhay Pilipinas!

Manny will crush Morales!

Kicker 03-17-2005 02:07 PM

It's gonna be a good fight for sure!!!

dig420 03-17-2005 02:11 PM

great fight, a real pick em matchup. when the mexicans come into vegas the odds will be practically even. I saw the MAB-Morales fight live, this is the first really good fight I've missed attending in a while. I went to get tickets like two days after they went on sale and all the good seats were already gone so I said hell with it, I'll watch it on PPV.

Can't WAIT for this fight, I'm picking Morales but it could definitely go either way.

SetTheWorldonFire 03-17-2005 02:41 PM

anyone make any bets for this fight?

Vitasoy 01-21-2006 07:03 AM

mightyjoe 01-21-2006 05:37 PM

who won?

smoke 01-21-2006 05:50 PM

It will be interesting to see how Morales has changed since replacing his father as his long time trainer. The last fight I watched of him he was being dominated and his father kept telling him he was doing great, very similar to the Trinidad, Wright fight. Hopefully he gets some of his fire back like he had in his earlier fights.

xNetworx 01-21-2006 06:42 PM

Boxing is boring to me now in 4 out of 5 bouts. Gimme MMA!
